Czech Republic vs Poland

Czech Futsal

A double friendly match was played between Czech Republic and Poland on may 20th and 21st, respectively in the czech cities of Chrudim and Hermanuv Mestec.

First match saw the Czech victory just nine seconds before the end, thanks to a last goal scored by Kopecky. One curiosity about the Czech scorers is given by the fact that Roman Lechovic is playing in the Polish futsal first division with PA Nova Eurogames Gliwice.

Poland had more luck in the second match, when Kuchciak managed to obtain a draw just 49 seconds before the end of the game.

These were the debut matches for both national team coaches: Tomasz Aftanski for Poland and Tomas Neumann for Czech side.

Slovak Cup Finals

This was definitely a great season for slovak club Slov Matic FOFO Bratislava. The Milan Kollar team, after winning the national title for the first ever time, obtained an impressive double by conquering the national cup too. Thanks to the second match victory in Bratislava, after the draw in the first final match (0-0), Vit Blazej and his team mates could celebrate again.

Below you can find both matches details and the second final photogallery, kindly provided by our friend and collaborator Vladimir Ambrozek, Futsal Slovakia webmaster.
